The name ‘4A’ comes from the names of my family:
husband – Alec,
myself – Allison,
and 2 daughters – Abigail & Anja.
Photography has been an important part of my life since Junior High. After years of film photography and a period of time with my own darkroom, I embraced the Digital format.
Nine years ago I left the business world to be a full-time mother. In 2005 I began studying photography at one of the largest art schools in the country. In 2011 I received a Master in Fine Arts degree from the Academy of Art University. Now that my children are in school, I am returning full-time to the work of photography.
I love working with families to create casual and timeless portraits. My training and experience help me capture the essence of my subjects and bring out their best. Whether shooting a portrait session or taking pictures for your business I will put all my creativity to work for you.
